You WILL sleep again.

I too suffered severe insomnia for many years, battling the long nights and the constant fight with my brain to try and sleep. I understand the insomnia-related whole-body exhaustion, the debilitating stress and the inability to live your life.

 

I tried it all - supplements, wind-down routines, superstitious interventions, sacrificing social situations and commitments, pausing work, disconnecting from my community. It wasn't until I began unlearning, then really educating myself, that I saw a change. I am now a proud insomniac in recovery (I truly believe this is a lifelong journey, so I won't sugar coat it and pretend that you'll have 'perfect' sleep after working together). 

I'll normalise sleep disturbances, sleep interruptions and the challenges of falling and/or staying asleep. There is no such thing as perfect sleep, but I know together, you will find peaceful sleep and restorative evenings again.

What is a sleep coach?

As a sleep coach, I meet you where you're at in your insomnia journey, and work alongside you in a partnership approach. Through fostered trust and commitment, I will guide you through your insomnia, and help you to find restorative and peaceful sleep once again. 

Sleep coaching begins with foundational education. It is imperative for clients to understand what insomnia is in order to overcome it and what the journey to sleeping peacefully looks like (p.s. it isn't linear!)

It can be really challenging to work through insomnia on your own, especially when you're exhausted and you've tried many different methods, avenues and attempts to 'fix' it. As your sleep coach, I am here to guide you in your learning, support you in developing new behaviours and championing you as you discover self compassion. 

As a sleep coach, it is a privilege to be a part of someone's journey, as they claim their lives back after insomnia. I look forward to helping you recover from insomnia and leaving it behind for good!

How does it work?

We work together at your pace. Sessions are facilitated online, in a one on one approach, and are typically 45 minutes long. The investment is $150 (NZD) per session, and a 5 x session package is available for $675 (NZD). You and your journey are unique, your insomnia is not! We work together for as long as your journey requires.

LEARN

Your journey will start with education. We will unpack what insomnia is, learn about unhelpful conditioned behaviours, and explore thoughts and beliefs around sleep.

GROW

Discover strategies to leave insomnia, explore how your body and brain adapts, and discover safety after fear.

ADAPT

Navigate speed bumps and develop resilience in your journey, find energy again and reclaim your life.
